"Pigment-preparation table"

The table where Vermeer and Griet ground the pigments to create his paints was a very important element in both the novel and the movie, so I took special care to recreate it. I had Glassblower's Workshop fashion V-shaped beakers to contain the pigments. I used "glitter glue" (a combination of glue and glitter in various colors) for the pigments themselves. In the front right corner, I created a board and pestle for grinding the pigments. The linseed oil is mucilage glue.
